Built in 1981 by local sawmiller Peter Cunningham, the house features Tasmanian specialty timbers, including a blackwood kitchen, Huon pine, blackheart sassafras, and King Billy pine. Even without the national park, the property’s expansive forest and unique construction make it an impressive and distinctive retreat.
