The Accommodation

Tucked away on a 1,100-acre private property beside Narawntapu National Park, this ridge-top house offers sweeping views over Bass Strait and the surrounding native forest. Hand-built in the early 1980s by local sawmiller Peter Cunningham, the lodge showcases Tasmania’s finest timbers—Huon pine, blackwood, blackheart sassafras, and King Billy pine. Every detail reflects a deep respect for craftsmanship and nature. Today, it stands as a warm and welcoming retreat where the wilderness meets quiet luxury—an escape defined by space, seclusion, and stories carved in wood.

The Rooms

Designed for comfort and calm, each of the five rooms combines natural textures with understated elegance. Four rooms feature queen beds that can convert into singles, while the fifth offers cosy bunks ideal for groups or families.
