Before You Book
Not an athlete? Not a problem. Our walks are slow-paced, with plenty of rest stops. If you can handle a few hours of gentle walking with breaks, you'll be fine.
Pretty much everything—meals, accommodation, transport, guided walks, and even night vision gear. The only thing you need to bring is your clothes and curiosity.
We’ll pick you up from Annie May Guesthouse in Devonport at 10AM on Day 1. You just need to get yourself there—by plane, ferry, or car.
Absolutely. We keep our groups small and friendly, and solo guests are welcomed like old mates. By the end, you’ll likely have made a few new friends.
What To Expect
Comfortable, off-grid, and surrounded by nature. Think soft beds, hot showers, a sauna, and outdoor baths. You’ll be staying at a private coastal lodge—simple but relaxing.
Home-cooked meals using local Tassie produce. We cater to dietary needs—just let us know when booking. Breakfasts are wholesome, lunches are packed, and dinners are hearty.
Kangaroos, wombats, wallabies, and all kinds of birdlife. And at night? Possums, quolls, maybe even a Tasmanian devil—with the help of our night vision goggles.
Gear & Packing
We’ll send you a full list, but it’s mostly simple stuff: walking shoes, a daypack, a jacket, and swimwear for the bush baths. We provide a lot of the gear.
Not unless you want them. Any comfortable walking shoes with grip will do. It’s more bushwalking than mountain climbing.
Yes—there’s power at the lodge and Starlink internet if you want to stay connected. That said, most people choose not to.
Policies & Safety
We go rain or shine. But we also adapt—using alternate tracks, changing timing, or swapping beach walks for inland ones if needed. Safety and enjoyment come first.
Plans change—we get it. You can cancel up to 14 days before the trip for a full refund. Inside 14 days, we’ll try to fill your spot and refund what we can.
Your guide is first-aid trained and carries emergency gear. The walks are low-risk, but we’re always prepared—especially in the National Park.
